September 29 is the World Heart Day

According to the international calendar, September 29 is celebrated as the World Heart Day.
Every year since 1999, the events organized on this day are aimed at raising the level of awareness about cardiovascular diseases, prevention and management of those diseases.
📍Cardiovascular diseases (CVD), according to World Health Organization, remain the world’s number one killer, resulting in 18.6 million deaths a year. It has many causes: from smoking, diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity, to air pollution, and less common conditions such as Chagas disease and cardiac amyloidosis.
❣️This year the slogan of the World Heart Day is: “Use heart to connect”.
